I provide professional chair upholstery. From dining chairs to antique pieces, each chair is carefully stripped and rebuilt where needed to ensure there is a beautiful end result.
-
A chaise lounge is perfect for putting your feet up and relaxing in a luxury style. By carefully removing the old fabric and replacing it with new material, the Chaise Lounge is refreshed and ready to be used again.
-
An ottoman is perfect for putting your feet up, acting as a coffee table or even extra seating. The room feels complete with one of these.
-
A footstool lets you put your feet up properly improving relaxation and posture. They fit in small spaces and can easily be tucked away if necessary.
-
Cushions are a perfect way to transform a space. They help tie a room together by matching the colours in the room to the cushions. They bring coziness and comfort to the space.
Quirky designs
I love working with bright colours and creating unique designs that feel slightly unexpected. I believe furniture should make you smile and make a room feel alive, something you will love seeing in your space every day. For me, no two projects look the same and that is what I love especially about upholstery. It’s about giving the furniture personality and creating a piece that can stand out and I take pride in turning old furniture into something that feels personal to you.
Benefits of Reupholstery
Sustainability
Reupholstering furniture is a perfect way to extend the lifespan of exsisting peices by reducing waste, as I use materials and frames that are reused which means the amount of waste going into the landfill is being reduced. I use natural materials like wool, horsehair and coir which also helps minimise the environmental impact. I recycle and wash horsehair in traditional upholstery.
Customisation
Customisation allows your furniture to be tailored to you. You can choose the fabrics, designs and textures so your furniture is unique and made to match your interior. This makes the pieces feel more meaningfull to you and is made to be long lasting.
Cost effective
For traditional, antique and rare pieces, might not be cheaper than buying new, but you can’t replace sentimental items, brand new with the same feel it had before. With my upholstery, I can create the same feel by using similar fabrics, textures and colours to the original piece so you keep the emotional value.
